I never anticipated Wren to beat me at my own game. My tenuous grip on self-control shattered the moment he kissed me in the gallery. He made out with me like he wanted me to rip off all his clothes and fuck him against the wall while everyone watched. I was so aroused, I almost considered it.

As soon as we were back in the apartment, he was on me again. His demanding kisses and teasing touches kept my protests locked up in chains. I couldn’t resist giving in to what I had spent three years denying myself.

Everything was moving in a blur, with our clothes coming off faster than I could comprehend as Wren stripped us both bare and guided me to my bed.

It was getting to the point of no return, and I had to stop us from careening off that cliff too soon. I put my hands on his shoulders and forced him back so I could think. “Wait.”

“So help me god, if you say we can’t do this, I’m going to lose my shit,” he growled. I inhaled when he wrapped his hand around my prick and started working it. “I need this inside me, driving me wild. Now.”

But after all we had been through, I owed it to both of us to be honest. “You need to understand that this has nothing to do with being your dating tutor.”

“And everything to do with wanting to jump my bones?”

“Oh, mon ami. You have no idea.” I reached up and brushed the strands of pink hair that had fallen over his eyes to tuck behind his ear. “It’s about so much more than that.”

“Is this the part where you admit you’ve shot me down for three years because you thought I was only joking about wanting to be with you when all you wanted was to be with just me?” He couldn’t quite smother his grin at my stunned expression. “Are you ready to confess your deep, undying love for me and me alone?”

My heart raced at the prospect of finally laying myself bare before him. “Oui.”

I didn’t expect him to double over with laughter. “Oh my god, are we really that dumb?”

“I don’t understand.”

Wiping away his tears of amusement, Wren had to take several deep breaths to calm himself. “Do you think I tripped into you accidentally the first time we met? I literally threw
